All 15 of us study abroaders gathered at the airport in front of the Air France desk at Logan Airport. We were all excited we got our tickets, checked our bags, went through security, went to the airport bar, said goodbye to the Berlin kids =(, and were very excited to get on the plane and venture into a new culture and country. We got on the plane sat down got settled and then the lights started to flicker on and off all throughout the airport, "like fourth of july" as our french pilot would say. So we waited on the plane for 2 hours then were told to get off the plane and waited another hour until finally we were off. Unfortunately this delay meant we missed our transferring flight in Paris to Montpellier. So we waited 10 hours in the Paris airport for the next available flight. We had finally arrived in Montpellier after barely sleeping for 30 plus hours and of course my bag would not be there but luckily i received it late that night. And this picture is in paris people donated to the WWF, cultures coming together to help animals. The second image is the Paris airport it had some nice architecture, very nice texture.
Day 2 we started to walk around and get accumulated with the city. One of the first things we learned was watch out for dog poop, some of us learned first hand but fortunately i had better luck day two. We also got to see an amazing olympic pool and library only a 2 minute walk from our apartments. My favorite part of the day was when we walked to Saint Clement Aqueduct (structure that used to carry water for people(old plumbing)). The view of the city was gorgeous, you could see for miles.

The Pool...duh lol
Day 3 The first day of classes was a very long day. We got to see our studio place, which by the way blows Wentworth studio spaces out of the water, but anyway it is awesome. The day consisted of our first French class, our first studio class, our first site visit, our first project, and meeting all our new professors! After classes Lorenzo(Lauren) and I looked at spring break travel ideas and we are pretty sure we are going to Venice! We found super cheap flights and hotels and I also may be traveling to Germany to see my favorite person in the world, Parth Patel oh yea and Brian Roy ;) lol But more to come about this later. Studio is the building on the right we have the top floor and inside there is spiral staircases to balconies that have skylights and our desks. We also have a kitchen, bathroom, shower, and a roof patio.

Today...Day 4 was our day off which of course had to consist of shopping for things. Oh which by the way is kind of hard when you know little to no French, emphasis on the NO! But we followed the directions of our French professor and just said the english words with a French accent. Grocery store shopping was interesting we searched all over for peanut butter and finally found some but in the tinniest jar I've ever seen. Needless to say food is much different here but the fashion is pretty much the same surprisingly. That is all for now I will keep posting as much as I can! Oh and one more thing its supposed to be 50s here in the winter and it snowed today.....Champagne problems.
Jusqu'a la prochaine fois,
